Jolan Hsieh / Bavaragh Dagalomai

Siraya scholar – activist, Bavaragh Dagalomai (Jolan Hsieh) , has long been dedicated to Indigenous higher education, international academic exchange, Indigenous rights, and transnational collaboration. She actively promotes connections between Taiwan Indigenous peoples and global Indigenous communities, fostering international research partnerships, youth exchanges, and policy dialogues. She has participated in numerous international organizations and conferences related to Indigenous education and human rights. Her research and professional work focus on Indigenous knowledge systems, decolonizing education, global Indigenous issues, and Indigenous research ethics, with the aim of enhancing the visibility and influence of Taiwan Indigenous peoples in the international arena.
